Abstract

Industri pertambangan saat ini mengalami kemajuan yang pesat. Salah satunya adalah PT. Harita Group yang beroperasi di Desa Kawasi, Pulau Obi, Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan, Provinsi Maluku Utara yang bergerak di bidang penambangan bijih nikel dan smelter yang memproduksi nikel besi. PT. Harita Group berkewajiban untuk mengimplementasikan program Pengembangan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (PPM) untuk mensejahterakan komunitas sosial dan lingkungan perusahaan yang merupakan bagian dari implementasi dokumen Analisis Dampak Lingkungan (AMDAL).
