Abstract

Interpersonal Persuasion merupakan hal yang penting dalam komunikasi antar pribadi Agen Asuransi kepada prospeknya untuk mendapatkan compliance atau kepatuhan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisa proses Interpersonal Persuasion dan melihat unsur dan faktor apa saja yang bekerja di dalamnya yang terjadi antara Agen Asuransi Prudential sebagai komunikator kepada prospek sehingga dapat menciptakan compliance. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, interpersonal persuasion, komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam komunikasi antara Agen Asuransikepada prospek yang disertai penggunakan strategi interpersonal persuasion yang tepat dalam konteks intimacy, dapat memicu kepercayaan (trust)sehingga memungkinkan peningkatan kepatuhan (compliance) terhadap proses persuasi antara Agen Asuransi kepada prospek.
