Abstract

Married by accident masih dianggap buruk di Indonesia yang mengakibatkan citra keluarga khususnya orang tua menjadi tercoreng begitupun dengan dirinya yang married by accident. Sindiran dari masyarakat sekitar datang silih berganti yang mengakibatkan suami istri married by accident merasa malu, tertekan, menutup dari masyarakat sekitar. Padahal terlepasdari masa lalunya, pasangan suami istrimarried by accident harus hidup normal dan dapat meningkatkan citra keluarganya kembali. Peneliti melakukan wawancara mendalam dengan pasangan suami istrimarried by accident, tokoh masyarakat, dan psikolog. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah tidakadanya strategi komunikasi yang kompleks untuk meningkatkan citra keluarga karena adanya perubahan persepsi dan pergeseran nilai terhadap kasus married by accident.
