Abstract

Sarinah, sebuah badan usaha milik negara yang didirikan oleh Presiden pertama Indonesia, Soekarno, telah bertransformasi selama bertahun-tahun untuk tetap relevan dalam praktik bisnis modern dengan tetap melestarikan budaya Indonesia. Sarinah kini hadir sebagai mall dengan konsep community based mall. Strategi repositioning Sarinah meliputi renovasi dan perluasan area, penambahan brand dan tenant baru, serta penyelenggaraan event dan promosi untuk meningkatkan citra dan menarik lebih banyak pelanggan. Penelitian ini melalui wawancara yang mendalam kepada beberapa generasi zomers yang memenuhi kriteria. Dalam penelitian tersebut mencakup 9 aspek yakni citra mall, arsitektur, ambiance, reward, entertainment, keamanan, kenyamanan, gaya hidup, dan time-saving. Dari hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa Reposisi yang dilakukan Sarinah sudah cukup berhasil menarik perhatian pengunjung terutama generasi zoomers.
