Music is a way people express themselves. Many musicians, like Travis Scott, have succeeded in creating beautiful music that has gained them numerous fans worldwide. Travis Scott hosts his own live music concert called Astroworld Festival. However, amidst his success, Travis faced a tragic incident during the festival that caused the loss of many lives. This tragedy was widely covered by the media, including The Guardian News. In this study, we will review how The Guardian News portrayed Travis Scott, looking at his dramatic and symbolic theories perspectives, as well as public opinions and perceptions using the Symbolic Interaction Theory. The research revealed that some people were disappointed and decided not to listen to Travis Scott's music anymore, while others said they would continue to listen but wouldn't respect him as much. The study aims to encourage Travis Scott to prioritize public safety, urging event organizers to enhance security measures during concerts and prompting the audience to behave more responsibly for their own safety.
