Abstract

New social media Clubhouse was introduced and one of Indonesian’sentrepreneur, Denny Santoso, uses Clubhouse as a platform in sharingknowledge entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is very important as a way todevelop Indonesia’s economy. However, the entrepreneurship rate inIndonesia is still low. This study is aimed to see the correlation betweenDenny Santoso’s Clubhouse and entrepreneurship empowerment byimplementing the Uses & Gratifications Theory and the concept ofentrepreneurship empowerment. A total of 99 responds was collected andthe results showed that there is a moderate and strong correlation betweenDenny Santoso’s Clubhouse and entrepreneurship empowerment.
