Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki fokus utama pada pemberitaan pembunuhan Jamal Khashoggi pada media daring di Arab Saudi (spa.gov.sa), Iran (en.irna.ir), dan Indonesia (antaranews.com). di dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif-interpretatif dengan teknik analisis menggunakan model framing milik Robert Entman dengan didukung teori konstruksi realitas sosial milik Peter L. Berger dan Thomas Luckmann. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan adanya kecendrungan untuk masing-masing media melakukan framing dengan realitas yang masing-masing Negara yakini yang juga terkait dengan kepentingan mereka dalam situasi geo-politik di Timur Tengah.

Kata Kunci : Jamal Khashoggi, Arab Saudi, Iran, Indonesia, Saudi Press Agency, Islamic Republic News Agency, LKBN Antara, Framing, Konstruksi Realitas.
