Abstract

Penelitian berjudul Makna Pesan Cinta Keluarga pada Film Action: Analisis Semiotika Film Skyscraper bertujuan untuk membahas cinta keluarga. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teori semiotika yang dikemukakan oleh Christian Metz melalui penggelompokkan struktur pengambilan film yaitu The Large of Syntagmatic. Kemudian dalam penelitian ini terdapat teori pendukung yaitu teori cinta oleh Erich Fromm dan Robert J. Sternberg. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 13 scene yang diteliti dalam film Skycraper terdapat 6 dari 8 kategori penggelompokkan film yaitu autonomous shot, descriptive syntagma, alternate syntagma, scene, episodic sequen, danordinady sequen yang mengandung unsur cinta keluarga.
